"It is pleasing that most of the companies have been included in the index from its beginning, says Beata Jarosz, Member of the Management Board of the WSE. "We must keep working to ensure that the companies incorporated in the RESPECT Index are more recognisable as CSR leaders also among analysts and exchange market participants.

The certificate was handed to Mariusz Machajewski, Chief Financial Officer.

The RESPECT (Responsibility, Ecology, Sustainability, Participation, Environment, Community, Transparency) project is intended to promote the highest standards of responsible management. It also strongly emphasises the attractiveness of investment in listed companies, which is founded on such factors as the quality of reporting, the quality of investor relations or the disclosure standards.

The Warsaw Stock Exchange started publishing the index of socially responsible companies, the RESPECT Index, in 2009. The survey of candidates for inclusion in the index portfolio covers stocks traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, excluding those listed on the NewConnect market, foreign and dually listed companies.
