The Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. hereby reports that on June 26th 2006 Mr Wojciech Kowalczyk was appointed a proxy and was authorised to represent Grupa LOTOS S.A. and make declarations of will on its behalf together with a Member of the Management Board. Wojciech Kowalczyk graduated from the Faculty of Maritime Transport at the University of Gdańsk. He began his professional career 30 years ago at Zakłady Mechaniczne Zamech in Elbląg. In 1988–1990, Mr Kowalczyk was deputy director at the Megat Great Construction Site in India. In the subsequent years, he was sales director at Przedsiębiorstwo Handlu Zagranicznego Baltona and the Regional Office Director at Foto-World Sp. z o.o. In 1995–2002, he served as director of communications at ABB Zamech Sp. z o.o. Since July 2002, Mr Kowalczyk has held the position of sales director at Grupa LOTOS S.A. Wojciech Kowalczyk is not entered into the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained pursuant to the Act on the National Court Register and does not conduct business activities competitive to the Company’s business.
