Implementation of the Comprehensive Technical Upgrade Programme (PKRT)– Agreements for the Purchase of Reactors

The Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. hereby reports that on June 27th 2006 the Supervisory Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. issued its consent for the conclusion by Grupa LOTOS S.A. of agreements for the supply of four reactors, with technical parameters as defined in the design prepared by Shell Global Solutions, to be used in the Mild Hydrocracking Unit, which forms a part of the Comprehensive Technical Upgrade Programme (“PKRT”). Agreements for the supply of critical PKRT machinery and equipment have a material bearing on the project’s implementation cycle. The agreements for the purchase of reactors will be performed as part of a subsequent EPC contract, and will be concluded on market terms. Conclusion of the agreements will represent a keypoint securing implementation of the PKRT Project, which is described in Grupa LOTOS S.A.’s Prospectus as one of the key objectives of the share issue and a foundation of the Company’s strategy. Currently, the PKRT Project is at the stage of Front-End Engineering and Design of a new group of units. Work also continues on the arrangement of financing for the Project.
