The Management Board of Grupa LOTOS SA informs that on 13 July 2005, Grupa LOTOS SA signed an agreement with Shell Global Solutions International, whereby Shell Global Solutions International is to provide engineering and technical advisory services during the implementation of the Comprehensive Technical Development Programme of Grupa LOTOS SA The agreement was concluded following the Letter of Intent signed on 25 November 2004 by Grupa LOTOS SA, LOTOS Ekoenergia SA, Shell Global Solutions International and Shell International Trading and Shipping Company, and represents another milestone in the implementation of the Comprehensive Technical Development Programme indicated in the Issue Prospectus of Grupa LOTOS SA as one of the key purposes of the issue. The Comprehensive Technical Development Programme, for which Grupa LOTOS SA intends to earmark PLN 3.2 billion in 2005-2009, provides for building the facilities for the Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC), solvent deasphalting process (SDA), and mild hydrocracking (MHC) at the Gdańsk refinery.
