Appointment of members of the Supervisory Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A.

On February 29th 2012, the following persons were appointed to serve on the Company's Supervisory Board of the eighth term of office:
- Agnieszka Trzaskalska as a Member of the Supervisory Board,
- Marcin Majeranowski as a Member of the Supervisory Board.

Agnieszka Trzaskalska
Agnieszka Trzaskalska has completed doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Warsaw University; she holds a graduate diploma in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia. Since 1999, she has been employed by the Ministry of State Treasury at the following departments: the Agencies and Foundations Department, the Financial Institutions Department, the 5th and 6th Ownership Supervision and Privatisation Department. At present, she is Head of the Privatisation Department.
In addition, Agnieszka Trzaskalska has held the following positions:
- Deputy Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of TAURON POLSKA ENERGIA S.A. (since 2007),
- Deputy Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of LOTOS Petrobaltic S.A. (2007-2012),
- Board Member of the Foundation of the Polish Students' Parliament (2000 - 2003),
- Deputy Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of PKRB FABUD S.A. of Siemianowice Śląskie (2005-2007).

Marcin Majeranowski
Marcin Majeranowski is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Warsaw University. In 2003, he was entered in the register of legal counsels maintained by the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Warsaw. He has attended various courses, including the Faculté Internationale de Droit Comparé comparative law course run by the Robert Schuman University in Strasbourg.
Since 1997, he has been with the Ministry of State Treasury. In 2006-2010, he was Head of the Legal Representation Department (assistance in legal proceedings, experience in international arbitration in investment and trade disputes). Since 2010, Marcin Majeranowski has been Head of the Strategic Companies Department, whose remit covers the exercise of rights and discharge of obligations of the State Treasury associated with its equity holdings in companies established under commercial law, developing comprehensive solutions to improve the owner's supervision over companies of strategic importance to the State Treasury, as well as coordination and performance of the Ministry's tasks specified in the Act on Investments Related to the Świnoujście LNG Regasification Terminal Project, dated April 24th 2009. Marcin Majeranowski has also sat on the supervisory boards of Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń S.A., Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A. and other companies.

According to their respective representations, none of the newly appointed members of the Supervisory Board is entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained pursuant to the Act on the National Court Register, or is engaged in any activities competitive with the Company’s business, or is a partner in any partnership under civil law or another partnership engaged in activities competitive with the Company's business, or is a member of governing bodies of incorporated companies or other legal entities engaged in activities competitive with the Company's business.

The legal basis for the publication of this Current Report is Par. 5.1.22 of the Minister of Finance’s Regulation on current and periodic information to be published by issuers of securities and conditions for recognition as equivalent of information whose disclosure is required under the laws of a non-member state, dated February 19th 2009.
