Forecast Consolidated Financial Results of the LOTOS Group for 2006

The Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. hereby publishes its forecast of the consolidated financial results of the LOTOS Group for 2006. The forecast has been prepared with the application of the International Accounting Standards. Selected forecast figures relating to the operations of the LOTOS Group in 2006: Forecast production of crude oil (thousand tonnes): 262 Forecast processing of crude oil (thousand tonnes): 6,044 Sales volume (Grupa LOTOS S.A.) (thousand tonnes): 6,603 Selected forecast items of the consolidated profit and loss account of the LOTOS Group (PLN m) in accordance with the IFRS: Sales revenue: 13,436 Depreciation and amortisation: 307 Operating profit: 819 Net profit: 723 Net profit attributable to majority shareholders: 657 Basis and material assumptions adopted for the preparation of the 2006 forecast: Average annualised USD/PLN exchange rate: 3.21, Average annualised price of BRENT dtd crude oil USD/bbl: 70.54, Average annualised price of Premium Unleaded CIF High 95 gasoline USD/Mg: 690.07, Average annualised price of 10 ppm CIF High diesel oil USD/Mg: 655.69, Assumed share of the LOTOS Group in the domestic fuel market: 25.7% The feasibility of reaching the results projected in the forecast will be assessed by a designated organisational unit, which will review the forecast if necessary. Based on the data received, the Management Board will assess the feasibility of reaching the forecast values, indicating the criteria for such assessment, and, if necessary, will revise the forecast. Information on the feasibility of performing the forecast will be published in the LOTOS Group’s quarterly reports for individual quarters of 2006. Any material discrepancies between the forecast and the actual results will be published in current reports.
