Appointment of Members to the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. – Supplementary Information

In order to supplement the information contained in Current Report No. 54 of September 29th 2006, the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. hereby furnishes information on: Mr Marek Sokołowski, Vice-President of the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A., Production and Development; and Mr Jarosław Kryński, Vice-President of the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A., Sales, both of whom were appointed today. Mr Marek Sokołowski, Vice-President of the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A., Production and Development Mr Sokołowski graduated from the Technical University of Gdańsk with a major in automation of industrial processes. The beginnings of his career at Grupa LOTOS S.A. date back to 1973. Since that time he has held the following positions: Automation Specialist, Head of Digital Technology Department, Head of IT Centre, and Chief Automation Engineer. In 1990, Mr Sokołowski became Technical Director and Member of the Management Board. For three consecutive terms in office, his chief responsibility was to ensure continuity of the refinery’s operation and execution of investment projects. In mid-2000, he was appointed Chief of Technical Service and the Company’s Proxy. Since 2002, Mr Sokołowski served as Vice-President of the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. and Operational Director. Mr Jarosław Kryński, Vice-President of the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A., Sales Mr Kryński graduated from Department of Precise Engineering with a major in automation processes and metrology. He also earned an Executive MBA degree from the Business School of the Technical University of Warsaw. Since 1994, he has been employed at the Shell concern. Until 1996, he had served as Security Adviser to the President of the Management Board and next he became Director of Fuel Production, Purchases and Distribution. In the years 1999-2002, as Member of the Management Board of Shell Polska Sp. z o.o., Mr Kryński occupied the position of Director for Central Europe in charge of fuel purchases at Shell Europe Oil Products. Later he was appointed Global Director of Competitive Strategy at the Shell International Headquarters in London. In 2005, Mr Kryński was Shell Polska Sp. z o.o.’s Chief Adviser for Strategy and Development, Central and Eastern Europe. From December 2005 to January 2006, he sat on the Management Board of Nafta Polska S.A. Since February 2006, he was Vice-President of Naftobazy Sp. z o.o. The Members of the Company’s Management Board appointed today have not been entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors, maintained pursuant to the National Court Register Act, and are not engaged in any activities competitive to the Company’s business.
