In connection with the information about the sale of fuels to wholesalers as published in the Prospectus, the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS SA hereby reports that the contract of 01.08.2001 between Grupa LOTOS SA and POL-MIEDŹ Trans Sp. z o.o. company is terminated with effect from 31.10.2005. The notice of termination provided for in the contract is six months; consequently, the contract shall be dissolved on 30.04.2006. The subject matter of the contract is the sale of liquid fuels. The reason for the termination of the contract by Grupa LOTOS SA is the restructuring of fuel sales in the company as described in the Prospectus, one of its components being the transfer of fuel wholesale selling from Grupa LOTOS SA to its subsidiary LOTOS Paliwa Sp. z o.o. This process is implemented through the dissolution of contracts concluded by Grupa LOTOS SA which have been binding hitherto and their replacement with contracts concluded by LOTOS Paliwa Sp. z o.o. concerning the same scope of co-operation. In view of this, no significant financial effects of the contract termination in the consolidated Group context are anticipated.
