Grupa LOTOS S.A. hereby publishes estimates of the LOTOS Group’s Q4 2018 consolidated operating results:

1. Estimated consolidated revenue: PLN 7.92bn

2. Estimated consolidated normalised LIFO-based EBITDA: PLN 0.89bn; including:

   1. Estimated downstream normalised LIFO-based EBITDA: PLN 0.62bn

   2. Estimated upstream normalised LIFO-based EBITDA: PLN 0.26bn

3. Estimated consolidated normalised LIFO-based EBIT: PLN 0.71bn

4. LIFO effect: PLN 0.17bn (reducing the reported operating results).

 At the same time, the Company announces that the net effect of non-recurring items on the Group’s reported consolidated EBIT in the period may be positive, totalling PLN 0.3bn, including:

• Increase of PLN +0.4bn: reversal of impairment loss on expenditure on the YME field

• Increase of PLN +0.1bn: recognition of proceeds from the YME project insurance contract for the defective MOPU

• Decrease of PLN -0.1bn: net other impairment losses/write-downs and provisions in the upstream segment

• Decrease of PLN -0.1bn: net impairment losses/write-downs and provisions in the downstream segment, including:

  • PLN -0.05bn: tax risk provision.

The amounts presented above are initial estimates, subject to revision. Their final amounts will be published in the 2018 annual report, due to be issued on March 7th 2019.
