The Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. hereby reports that it has been notified today that on September 22nd 2007 LOTOS Exploration and Production Norge AS of Stavanger, Norway, was registered in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities/Register of Business Enterprises in Brønnøysund. The share capital of LOTOS Exploration and Production Norge AS is divided into 8,000,000 shares with a par value of NOK 1 per share, conferring the right to 8,000,000 votes. Grupa LOTOS S.A. acquired 100% of shares in the new company by contributing the entire share capital of NOK 8,000,000 (i.e. PLN 3,871,200, translated at the mid-exchange rate quoted by the National Bank of Poland on September 17th 2007). The Company was established for the purpose of exploration and production of oil on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
