With reference to Current Report No. 21/2009 of June 25th 2009, the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. hereby releases supplementary information concerning a Member of the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. of the seventh term, appointed by the Supervisory Board of the Company on June 25th 2009.
Mr Maciej Szozda
Aged 52, Mr Maciej Szozda graduated from the Faculty of Trade of Szkoła Główna Handlowa of Warsaw (Warsaw School of Economics). In 1983–1984, he worked for KWM Engineering as Managing Director. Then, until 1986, he worked in the US as Contract Manager. In 1986, he commenced his work for Przedsiębiorstwo Zagraniczne Ipaco as the Director, while in 1987–1989 he worked as Export Manager for Sinexim Gmbh of West Berlin. Since 1989, he conducted individual business activity, including work for Easey Garments UK Ltd. (Easy Jeans) as the Head of the Representative Office for Poland and the CIS. In 2002, he joined PKN Orlen S.A., where he subsequently served as: Director of the Office of Planning and Development of Retail Network, Director of the Office of Development of Retail Network – Europe and, until 2008, Retail Sales Executive Director. From October 2008 to February 2009, Mr Szozda was a Member of the Supervisory Board of Orlen Deutschland AG. From 2007 to February 2009, he worked for AB VENTUS NAFTA of Vilnius, a company of the PKN ORLEN Group, as a Member of the Management Board and then President of the Management Board. Currently, Mr Maciej Szozda is an independent Member of the Supervisory Board of RUCH S.A.
Mr Maciej Szozda is not entered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors maintained pursuant to the Act on the National Court Register and does not conduct any activities competitive in relation to Grupa LOTOS S.A. He is not a partner in any civil-law or other partnership competitive to Grupa LOTOS S.A. and does not sit on the governing bodies of any company or other legal person competitive in relation to Grupa LOTOS S.A.
